I applaud you, Ibanez.

I got an RG2550Z. It traveled from the icy realms of Slovenia to the scorching hell of Bahrain.

It was in tune the whole time. The only thing that happened was that the intonation tool got a bit loose and the locking nut got a bit loose.
That's all that happened. Ibanez is/was/will be the best guitar manufacturer in existence. They have shown that their products are far beyond quality.

Hmm interesting...

How many non ibanez guitars did you take in the same trip to compare their behaviours?
Where are the comparison results?
If you took only an Ibanez your point is..............null

Re: I applaud you, Ibanez.

ROFL... my other guitars didn't even stay in tune for home practice! Well the only results I have is the fact that I sold every guitar I had in the name of becoming an Ibanez snob. I will now stand behind them blindly and stupidly no matter what! FOR I HAVE BEEN TOUCHED BY THEIR GUITARS MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY!

I'm with ya! I did my "Great Purge" last year to rid the stable of all non-Ibbies. Sure there are other great guitars out there, and I got rid of some like my 48th St Custom Shop ESP Mirage Deluxe, but Ibanez makes what I like. If I want diversity, I just dump different pickups in them. Plus, I've got my own diverse Ibanez collection ranging from RG550s and 570s to a Jem 77VBK to and Iceman and Destroyer, and on the way is one of the new Premium RG920QMs from Rich. It's just a matter of being happy with a brand and loyalty--I'm the same way with DiMarzios.

Yep, i have a RG2550MZ and it never goes out. I don't even lock the top and it still won't go out. Ive been round the country with it and its fairly road worn. Still sounds and plays as good as the day i bought it. Infact, it feels a little better, since its worn in.

Red face Re: I applaud you, Ibanez.

I have a spiritual connection to my 89 77FP, so I hear ya bro!

Ibanez Rules!! (Little plug for Rich )

Even though 6Fingers will debate at me on this subject...I'll still have mad love for that crazy Brazilian playing guitar freak!

Re: I applaud you, Ibanez.

i like ibbys as much as much as the next guy, can however not say that they are going less or more out of tune than any of the others. I prefer to have some diversity, don't think i am able to reproduce a Tele, Strat, LP sound with a RG.

Re: I applaud you, Ibanez.

PRS make some great guitars, i couldn't get into any of the set neck ones, but i do like the bolt on ones they do.

I loved the Swamp Ash Special with the narrowfield pickups, some great original sounds can be archived with one of them.
