Talking I bought Fareri's modded Ibanez.

You may have seen it on evil bay. Guess it was a bit overpriced, for it's only an RG7620, but it's nice modifications, like new paint, EMG's and the most important - maple fretboard! I've wanted a 7string and a maple boarded guitar for a while so I got them both at the same time.

Maybe some time I'll get myself a nice 7string body with claw and grip and just oil the whole thing =)

I'm NOT a fan of Fareri's playingt. He's fast but that's it.

Here's the guitar I'll have in a few days. It's only got chrome hardware nowadays:

I like the way it looks. Anyway, it's already on it's way! I'm sure it's a nice one to play.

Haha =)

Actually, I've never had a guitar with EMG's. Let's see how they sound like..
The only active pups I've had was on an Ibanez RGA8, that broke down and I got my money back. Those pups SUCKED big time. Some Ibanez's own active VERY low output pups. hated 'em. Muddy and useless.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and I've never had a sevenstring. Only sixstrings and an eightstring for a month.

I read this wrong and thought it was 'Ferrari's Modded Ibanez', getting pretty excited to see the most areo-dynamic guitar ever...

Nice grab!
I've been keeping my outs open looking for a "cheap" 7620 so I can have my tech
rip off the rosewood and put on a maple board for me.

Can anyone read the preset on the TriAxis? Looks like Lead 2 Green.

Re: I bought Fareri's modded Ibanez.

I received the guitar two days ago. Today I tore it to pieces. Did some sanding on the neck (the way I like), cleaned everything and put new strings on it.

There were some issues, but I guess they're handled now.

I've had many beers and good scotch single malt whiskey, so I'll do the intonation and the truss rode adjustements tomorrow.

Some pics here:
