Do I have to mask the binding and the teeth inlays before I apply the dye?
You don't have to mask the inlays, but you'll need alcohol to clean the inlays after dying. You have to be very, very careful with the binding. Look what happened to me on the first page in this thread when I was dying a fretboard with binding.

I did my first fretboard a couple of mounts ago on my main axe, and it's still dark

That is definitely hot, I'll have to try it out on my 1570.

Re: I darkened my rosewood fretboard on my RG2820

Hello

I applied a second coat of the dye on my fret board it looks like ebony now

But in doing so the dye got on the binding

I have used white spirits no luck

nail polish remover no luck

and I used some mild rubbing alcohol no luck

Is my binding gonna stay black?

_Gently_ scrape the binding where it has been dyed with a razor blade. Very lightly, and the stain will come off the binding.

I've done this on a Yamaha acoustic with a bound fretboard after dying with Fiebings.

Re: I darkened my rosewood fretboard on my RG2820

BTW, Fiebings doesn't just come in black: they have a range of colours, including a range of browns.

I've tried the mahogany brown in an attempt to darken rosewood without going past a dark brown all the way to black.

The mahogany brown was a definite improvement, but I think a touch too red. I might try a darker brown next time to try for a more authentic dark rosewood colour.
