Why are you strictly refusing international shipping? Do you have any bad experience or what's the reason?

Keeping the 4 USA customs, the 2 Maxxas, 2 PGM's (401 & 10th), 2 540PII customs, the Fireman, 2 560's, the 2660, the RS-1 Italian flag guitar and my SZ520. Then I have the 2 Hamer USA Californians, the forthcoming Jackson, the EBMM JPX6 (I think the JPX7 may be going out as well...never should have bought it in hindsight) annnnnnd my 3 Caparisons. Oh, and the Hembry Iceman which has grown on me and my Fender Jazz bass.

Milkshake, we'll see what happens. If I still have it, I'd welcome dealing with you, even beneath a mountain of import forms.
Your guitar collection is sick bro. I've just got two RG j craft prestiges and my girlfriend thinks it's too many!!! I'm addicted to these Ibanez guitars... ahhh!!!!

As far as the J-Custom goes, I'm sure you could trade it for a nice Caparison or Jackson USA if that's your thing. I'd say that guitar is worth close to double what that guy offered you... beautiful axe dude.

Re: I got the JCustom blues

Well, the bullpoop continues. Guy that won wanted me to do free next day air to his other home in Hawaii because even tho it only went to $1725, he did bid $2500 so I'm responsible for the free shipping even tho no one tried to outbid him. (Well, one dude did which is the reason it went up to that much.) I disagreed (I'd ship it that way but I sure as hell wasn't paying for it and last I checked, Hawaii wasn't CONUSA) and he backed out of the deal. Told him I'm filing non paying bidder credit and I'm sure a negative feedback is in my future. Blocked him from my future auctions as well.

Guess I'll resign to the fact that no one wants this JCustom (or, perhaps it's more they WANT the JCustom, they just don't want to pay for it.)

Meanwhile, $2200 for a EBMM Petrucci JPX7 to a guy in Puerto Rico and had ZERO problems. Paid within five minutes of invoice. That's my kind of buyer.

Shame I got outbid on it. I'll still give you $1525 for it. About the same as $1725 after fees.

I'd give you $1725 for it

Or my offer to broker still stands. No lighters or wolves needed.

For what you offer, perhaps you are better off sticking to the Ibanez Premium line, hm?

As far as USPS is concerned, shipping to Hawaii is really no different than shipping to California. I just sold a Jem to a guy in Guam and Priority Mail was $70 with $1825 of insurance coverage. Priority Mail is 2-3 days, although it took longer to Guam. Perhaps you can revisit it with that guy if he's willing to accept Priority Mail. Just sayin'

You can call it being sore but really, it's not. Ibanez obviously has fallen out of favor with the public (which sucks when I now have 13 Ibanez guitars up on ebay). Least they're not ones you see all the time so maybe I'll do ok. That sparkle guy always had JCustoms and if people wanna pay more for a 2010 model with a Edge Zero on it instead of a 2006 model with an Edge Pro for less money, they apparently are not wise in purchasing high end Ibanez.

That would be fine but he wanted next day air on my dime and I don't see where that's my responsibility especially when the auction ended much less that $2500. Even then I would have just sent it the next level up from ground, not even next day air. If he pays next day air, all well and good but he's a loon if he thinks I'm paying that. Doesn't matter, I filed the non paying bidder credit already.

Welcome to the forums, Duck. I really don't want to keep this as it's not for me anymore. I spent 25 years with Ibanez and now I'm going with Carvin. Simple as that. I'd prefer not to lose too much from what I paid Rich but if this dude paid the winning bid price, I'd buck up and send it. Yeah, would suck it sold for $1000 less than I paid but that's ebay for you. Due to his e-mail tirade and out of order shipping demands, I'm not bound to that deal.
