I have attained the holy grail
I picked up my first guitar, an Ibanez starter pack w/ the 10 watt amp, in 1997.
I found jemsite soon after thanks to Vai (and Satch too, big ups to my NYer guitarists)
I first learned about the RG Art here and fell in love with it as most do
I searched for years and 4-5 years past, and I found one on ebay in 2002, but I did not buy because I did not have the money and I was too young for anyone to lend me that amount.
I thought my dream was gone forever
I kept searching for years only to find expired listings or already bought/sold ads.
I just missed Kaas's RG ART on ebay in December 2012 and once again, felt a loss.
I bought a new amp, thanks to the encouragement of my fiancée, and she wanted a tour of my guitar gallery. I showed her them and realized only one thing was now missing, it was always missing. And when I found it in 2002, I had missed it again.
I was going to change things this time.
I went online the night she pushed me to buy the amp and I found the most ridiculous thing Ive ever seen: an RG Art for sale by a private owner and no one had seen it.
I had a hard time acquiring but RG ART #F9714455/970391 is now on its way back home to NYC, USA after being lost in Europe since its listing in german e-b-a-y in 2003.
I am the happiest guitarist in the world atm, and maybe for the next few hours.
I want to thank my fiancée for making me get it this time, I wouldn't have it if it wasn't for her.
