I heard from a friend that a friend saw a petrucci - Bad new

Well like my title says, the connection i have have somthing to say about a petrucci. They said that the tone is really "petrucci" and the peizo bridge is nice. *But its not that versitile. But it has a really nice neck. He said the the pickups are really mid high. And from what i can tell its perfect for doing petrucci oriented suff but really nothing else. However, he said that the graphic paintjob was the coolest. The paint job changes in every direction you look at it.

Mid high for me is a good thing to my ear, at least when I compare my Evolution equipped guitar to my JPM, with the JPM my E and A strings seem to make better sounding "crunchier" power chords compared to the Evos.

When I get my EB JPM in, I plan on recording the various pickup postions and the Piezo and posting it to the www.jpmsite.com. *That will help answer a lot of these questions I think, which is only understandable considering it's a brand new product with modified pickups.

I was going to do the same thing on my profile page, just play something on the Ibanez and have the EBMM side by side, swap it out and then play the same thing on the EBMM. *I was going to do it on video probably though so you could see me swapping the guitars (it has more impact that way IMHO).
