I need a backup 7 string, what do you suggest?

Hey guys. I'm thinking that in the future here I will need a backup 7 string guitar to go with my Universe. I was thinking maybe a hardtail would be a nice feature to have o it. Also I'm probably going to be getting rid of some guitars because I feel guilty about having so many, so this "backup" 7 doesn't have to be a real cheap guitar either since I won't have a bunch of other guitars that take priority over it. I was thinking I'd have my Universe, then a nice backup seven, and then a six string guitar. So any suggestions would be great because I can't really think of much. Thanks

How about a RG1527, or, if you want a hardtail, an RG15271 from Ishibashi?

I second the notion for the RG1527. I absolutely love mine. It is a high quality axe but definitely won't break your wallet. That and the 7620 are the only two 7-strings I've ever played, so I can't compare. I can only recommend.

I'm gonna have to say the 1527 as well... but if you looked you could probably get a nice 2027 used.
