I´ve had that Gibson SG Special for a year collecting dust in a corner of my bedroom, so i began a search on the net looking for a change.Tried four times with "no" as answer (of course looked for better guitars than mine) when saw that one. A guy selling a G & L ASAT (Telecaster). So, asked him for the change and he told me to try and see the guitars.
That change by itself would have been really good for me, but the best came then: i´was a custom shop!!!!!!! Alder body with birdseye maple top, maple neck and fretboard with bindings, back routing, transparent light green end and in absolutely perfect condition!!. I thought the guy would never accept but after 5 min he said OK. Now i have this beatiful thing in front of me and i can´t stop looking at it. Through my JCM 800 sounds exactly like Satch´s in "All alone". Sounds awesome.
Am i the only one here who would´t sell this babe for less than 2000 $ (hey, i´m not thinking about that, but for a 500 $ SG Special is a difficult-to-believe change).

Forgot to mention the neck. It´s a two pieces like a bolt on, but in spite of screws it´s set (not a set neck guitar, same as a bolt-on but the neck is glued in spite of screwed).

Forgot another spec. Has a five-position switch (one of those multi-switchs): neck with tone control disabled/neck with tone/both/bridge with tone/bridge without .

G&Ls are awesome guitars that don't get near enough respect that they deserve! I have a Legacy with ASAT pups in the neck and bridge and a Z-Coil in the middle that sounds awesome. G&L standard strat pups are equally amazing.
