Here are some ideas.

Block the tremolo so you have a fixed bridge.
Put in a Roland GK-2 pickup.
Put in a piezo system.
Put a Fernandes sustainer pickup in it.
Put some small switches in so you can get more sounds from it.
Repaint it.
Take the paint of and oil it for a nice bare wood feeling.
Put a pickguard on it made out of an old cornflakes box.
Make holes for more pickups.
Drill small hole and put lamps in them.
Drill a monkey grip in it.
Drill holes and make a Bumblefoot cheese guitar.
Put it on fire and make a burned down Jimi Hendrix guitar.
Build in a heating device so you an play it outside, even at winter time.

Off the cuff mods done "just to be different" are almost never a good idea, especially when they're permanent. You're as likely to change your mind about it afterwards.

What do you want out of your guitar? What would make it better? Are there any nagging problems that bug you about it? Plenty of people are happy with stock guitars, so if YOU can't come up with anything you feel needs improving, I'd let it alone & spend your time & money elsewhere.

If you just have the bug to start screwing around with guitars, I fully understand. Go buy a couple $100 eBay specials and have at them.

just play it as well as you can, how you want. That's about all the customizing you'll need outside of paint and pickups.

Haha, I definitely hope you do that mod. I think it would look sweet and make your guitar totally unique.
