Ibanex GAX30 question

I bought a used GAX30 Ibanez from a used music store for 160$. I checked the Ibanez site, because I was hoping I could fix it up, sell it for more, and buy a nicer Ibanez, and I could only find the colour schemes Black, Jewel Blue, and Transparent Red. Mine is a deep, dark purple. Many sites mentioned that in odd light the Jewel Blue looks purple, but this is absolutely not that scheme. I checked under the pick guard and if it's an independent paint job they covered everything, but I seriously doubt, unless it was done by a professional, that it is a paint job. I was wondering if this guitar was a special edition, discontinued colour, etc, or if anyone knows anything about it.

Also, if it is an oddball job by Ibanez, is it worth more now then most GAX30s and will it be in the future?
