Ibanez 2011 Line-up?

I was wondering when the 2011 line-up gets announced? I am itching to buy a new guitar, but there is nothing at the moment which really 'floats my boat' :O)

Many thanks

Re: Ibanez 2011 Line-up?

New model releases aren't likely before winter NAMM in late January 2011.

What do you think might "float your boat?" A current model with a different finish or hardware? Something new altogether?

Peace

Mike

Hi Mike,

I know what id like, but of course its never going to happen. An Ibanez Rocket Roll II re-issue!! ;O) Failing that, the PG Fireman at a reasonable price, which again is impossible I know.

Back to reality, I own a '08 PGM301 which I adore, I guess another hard tail is what im after, but most of the high end models have a floating trem.

So I think something new alltogether, I thought maybe if I wait I might see something that really leaps out and excites me :O)

I'd like to see the RGs return to the dot inlays. The shark tooth doesn't do it for me....

If you like hard tails check out the FR1620 and FR2620. I recently got one and it's brilliant. Love the ash body, and I'm at home with Prestige necks. Bought it for blues but the pickups are hot and will get you into rock and metal territory. If you can get past the tele body, I'd definitely recommend one.

Hey Man, thanks for making a reconmendation - its much appreciated. I can see that is a really great guitar, but I dont think I could get past the body shape! ^__^
