I WANT THIS. Put Air norton, tone zone, and True velvet in that baby and I got myself an awesome axe

Re: IBANEZ 2013 (who has the inside scoop)

I'm not happy with this camera at all. I took both to the show, started with the one I prefer but it would not switch into macro mode, gave up used the other. Of course when I tested back in the hotel it works perfect.

And my internet connection just plain SUCKS!

The UTA Ultralight Trem Arm comes with every MIJ JEM and JS.

How about that RG9, just when you think you've seen everything, I'm just now getting use to playing my 7 string S series, I haven't even consider trying an 8 string yet. Tosin will be playing one of those before its over with...lol

You're not ordering any Iceman 7s, Rich?

I like that Aqua-colored 450. I'm debating between buying that and putting dimarzios in it or buy an Orange RG3250

Met Rich in person at the show today. Good dude, knows his stuff.

The new stuff looks good, but nothing really jumped out at me hard in a "need one now" way.

Make no bones about it, that bridge was cast, so they spent the dime to get the tooling made. It may just be a tease now but I can guarantee you 9's will be coming. They would have just pieced one together from 2 bridges if it was a 1 off.

I can order anything anybody wants, but I don't have the room, or the desire to stock everything they make, especially all the Indo breeds. I will say right now that the base Indo is definitely getting better.

Back at ya, but my neck is still hurting. You're 9'7" and I'm barely 4'3"!

Do you mean the overall quality of the Indos are getting better?

Re: IBANEZ 2013 (who has the inside scoop)

The learning curve is steep in Indonesia. As with the higher priced models such as the JEM70V-SFG and some other models, quality is already at a pretty high level. Just compare a JEM555 to the Premium JEM70V - it's a world between them.

Yes, the fret end polish was better than on some of the Prestige [cough*maple boards*cough]

That's actually good to hear. If the Indos can compete with the higher end stuff, it'll make buying even standard RGs worth the investment. What did you think of the 450s (in general)?

Re: IBANEZ 2013 (who has the inside scoop)

Don't be fooled into thinking they're as good as the J's, cosmetics, woods, feel etc, they're not going to give the J's a run for some time, if ever. But, the fret ends have gotten much better.

I didn't pay that much attention to any certain model, just checked out several as I was going along to see how they were getting.
