Thats right ...I don't like having the ZPS bar in...and will never put it back in...it just does not feel right to me...thats my opinion;-)

I tried out a Premium recently and the neck profile was the biggest disappointment for me.

I loved the neck finish, which is glossy at the headstock, showing off the impressive woodworking there, but the rest of the neck is unfinished and smooth.

The neck just felt a little too . . . well . . . thick, I guess, but I have played thicker necks that felt better. I know how subjective that is; maybe I'll go back and observe a bit more closely.

The frets were very well done, trem function was good. The veneer is very thin and the figuring in the wood doesn't react to light like nice figure does. The black stain looks the same from any angle.

I'd rather have a Fugijen-made guitar with a simpler finish for the same money.
