Ibanez Art 100

Hello all. I recently bought a white Ibanez Artist 100. I love the guitar in everyway except that i dont care much for the stock pickups. The guitar has no real bite and it cant hold a note for long. I hav ehad it set up and still no different. So my guitar instructor mentioned a Seymour Duncan George Lynch Screamin Demon for the bridge and a Jazz for the neck. Anybody have any thoughts?

Mahogany w/maple top.
It has Super 58 pickups from the factory. I have an '86 AR350(w/edge trem) and I love the supers in there but they do lack a little sustain..but they have GREAT, GREAT tone
You could go with a set of Zack W. EMGs

I've only tried EMG's with basswood so I don't know. EMG's rock though.

I'd recommend a duncan distortion

Re: Ibanez Art 100

My Ibanez is all Mahogany with a Rosewood fingerboard. I really want it to have more balls i guess you could say. SO i looked at the Duncan distortion and the Screamin Demon. Not sure which one i will go with yet. Suppose it all depends on the deal.
