Ibanez Artcores..

Arg, so gas hit me and I bid on a AG85 on ****.. just for fun.. well ended up winning it =/ I kinda wanted to wait and buy a new one (ag86) but guess im stuck with this one now...

How do you guys like the Artcores? Im getting big into jazz so im hoping it'll be pretty good.. and the AG's are full hollow so im hoping it can get decently loud to keep up in an acoustic jam..

How do you guys like them?

Re: Ibanez Artcores..

Congratulations on your Artcore.

Good guitars for the money. I had an AK85. Liked it a lot, acoustically and plugged in.

cheers

Re: Ibanez Artcores..

Unbelievably good value for money, and pretty good guitars full stop. The only thing I have noticed is the odd hard to track down rattle, but generally most of the Artcores I have picked up have been pretty sweet.

Congrats!

Re: Ibanez Artcores..

I'm dying to get an Artcore also. I've played the AF75 at the guitar store and it was really nice. I'd love to get either the AG96 or the AG 86. Congratulations on your guitar. Enjoy it.

Re: Ibanez Artcores..

Have any of you guys played a GB before? I was going to buy an Artore from the bay before and it didn't materialized because I found something better (which I will be posting photos of this weekend sometime). I like Jazz and I've been gasing for an ES-335 or a GB2K.

Ah man I'd love to play a GB. Never had the opportunity yet, but I do know that the GB's are still made in Japan so that right there tells me the craftsmanship has to be top notch. I love the PM100 in the natural finish too. That's a beautiful guitar as well.

Re: Ibanez Artcores..

yeh. hope it is good. Thing is, the newer AG86's just look better for some reason... than the AG85. Oh well, hopefully its a nice guitar anyways, just stinks kinda realizing the guitar you actually want isnt too much more (like $250 more brand new than the one I bought) ..

Hopefully if it bothers me enough, I can sell it for the same price I bought it, locally, and pick up a AG86
