Ibanez Artist EQ guitar...
I purchased this guitar, dubbed the Ibanez Artist EQ back in 1978. It has active EQ electronics on board and came with a phantom power supply to run the elex that is powered through a 2-cond shielded guitar cable.

I use the guitar off and on still today. It's a really fine instrument made of mahogany. The back elex plate has the inscription, "Made by the proud craftsmen of Ibanez, Japan" on it. Very cool. Here's a pic of my holding the instrument during my last recording session:



By the way, I just ordered a Jem 77FP 15th Anniversary to compliment the Artist. Can't wait to get it and try it out!

Awesome instruments, they were usually labeled as the AR-500. Keep that one forever ;-)

Yeah, and it's still his MAIN axe! He won't buy a new one. It does have some pretty cool tones though...
