ibanez blazer series guitars - are the any experts on these

i have acquired an ibanez blazer series guitar, i don't know how old it is, but it is made in Japan so it should be alright. *it isn't stolen before anyone jumps to that conclusion. *

from what i've worked out, this series was re-released, but the re-release models were all made in korea (i think) so i woud assume that this guitar would be of higher quality/standard?

it has a fixed bridge with pickguard (no direct mounted pickups) with humbucker, single coil, humbucker configuration.

the serial number is on the classic style neck joint metal plate and it is H813264.

the neck has only 20 frets (which i found to be a little wierd as i thought that most things came in 22 or 24) and the truss rod sticks out at the headstock end so that it is visible and adjustable without having to remove any covers. *the neck appears to be made from mahogany and the truss rod is covered down the neck by a stip of bubinga/similarly coloured material

The machine heads/tuning pegs have ibanez smooth tuner II written on the back cover.

the headstock has the ibanez logo in metallic gold and blazer series is written in black above that. *at the tip of the swoosh is some writing that says custom made, but i think that most models come with that written on them.

i think that that is every detail about the guitar, except that it has a metallic paint job a sort of turquoise colour.

if anyone can help at all i would be really grateful.

thanks in advance

ian

You might want to try a combination of
http://www.seymourduncan.com/support...ne1switch.html

with the phase switch soldered to the middle pickup like here:
