Ibanez.co.jp - Making Up For It

Ok, y'know how we always complain that there are all these cool guitars we can't get anywhere but in Japan? *Well, take a second look at the site. *We're always complaining that there are all these cool RG-STYLE models exclusively available in Japan, but, you'll notice, we have MANY more S and SC models than them. *

Lop off the 4xx series guitars and below(except the SC420), and we have 2 Prestige models (1220 and 1520FB, both only in Natural), and the SC420. *They have the 570, 570WN, 1540FM, 1540QS, SC620, and let's not forget the J-Custom S9870. *We might have more actual models, but personally, I don't consider the cheap SA series or TRS models to be an advantage.

I'd lament the absence of any HSH S models available in the US, but they need to do something about those goofy inlays first..

Who knows, if you add up all the RG 1xx-4xx variants we have, we may actually have more of those too.

Yeah, I'm just thinking, what does this say about the markets in Japan vs. North America? *Well, first of all, North America seems (by looking at this alone) more rounded in tastes, while the Japan market seems very much RG-friendly.
