Thinking of selling my fgm100 guitar. But whats the value of them these days? as i cant find any that have been sold recently anywhere.. I have changed the hardware but also kept the original parts so ill be putting back to normal before sale.

oh yer sorry, im from wales in the uk...id possibley swap the guitar depending if someone is close enough to try eachothers guitar.Yer but like i said, i cant find any thats been sold used, infact after googling there isnt much on these guitars on the internet which is a shame as its fantastic, but at the age of 32 i think i need to tame the look down hehe.
Also id rather not put the guitar on the DEVIL-bay unless i have a buyer for it who wishes to do any transaction safely...But anyway if anyone has owned one of these please advise on an estimated price.
Anyhow if anyone is interested then the guitar is 1993 i think, the heel of the neck is stamped fgm100, condition is very good, a few light scrapes but no paint broken.Action is super low without buzzing or choking,basically the guitar plays itself.Everything is original with no tinkering to the electrics.Hardware has been changed but i still have the original stuff.Also comes with hard case.Zero fretware as its had a fretdress and set up spot on.Think thats it.

I used an online currency converter and 180,000 yen works out at £1250 (GBP) I think. Is it overpriced? I dunno. I'ves seen them go cheaper than that but it all depends on the individual guitar. Your guitar certainly seems to be in vgc.

you know, i never took any notice to that but on close inspection it is slightly lighter to the body. weird..... thats gready to have the 3 mate lol haha na, you lucky guy..........just asking but where's the black 1? do you have it?

I had a black one with a 90 SN. Great guitars but I missed the extra two frets.

I would like to get the black one just to have it, but I am not much on black guitars, and 3 is enough, I think the salmon one is my favorite, it plays the best of the three.

i think the salmon one is my fave colour, should i hang on to the guitar im going to change that awfull block thats on the bridge, they do the blocks on **** made of brass for these bridges and there cheap too considering.I think a cast block is never good, TONE KILLERS!!!

Hi guys. I need some FGM experts right now :-)
I just bought a yellow FGM and the tremolo edge bottom is getting out the back plate ! I noticed some pics found on the web show a window in the back plate, just under the trem edge. Is it a known FGM issue ??
I also own a great S540 desert yellow custom for years (without full acces neck joint) and no problem is to deplore on this one.
Does anyone know something about this ?
My guess is that the full access neck on FGMs kills the negative angle s540 have, and to adjust strings action, you have to lower the trem block deep into the cavity. And it points outside the back plate 1 or 2 mm.

Two of my FGMs have the window cut in the back trem plate to the access panel to hang just a bit, it is basically flush, but due to the actual trem being a bit more recessed than a standard 540SLTD, I think they had to make that adjustment.
