Ibanez Fixed bridge specs (rg421)

I am ordering some Piezo saddles for my Fixed bridge RG421 from Graphtec. Does anybody know the specs on the saddle sizes for this bridge?!? I dont trust my "ruler" measurement!

I ordered my RG421 2 weeks ago from Music123.com and it took them 12 days to process the order and it still hasnt even given me a tracking number yet. I wanna order the piezo saddles before it comes but im getting very impatient!

Nope I'm afraid I can't help here

I've not actually gone near my fixed bridge Ibanez with a ruler before, so this is a bit out of my league

The bridge on My JS6 is supposed to be a gotoh one, so maybe tracking down some specs from them (if they have a website) would do the trick?

I wasn't even aware that saddles were available in different sizes!?!??

Maybe try posting up a thread in the Tech: Setup, Repairs and Mods area and see if anyone there knows ?

Have you tried contacting GraphTech directly?

yes, luckilly one of the fellows who works there is from my hometown in Sask Canada. They have been GREAT help (they give a GREAT deal to Canadian customers) but offhand NO one has given me the specs. I have contacted various stores and NO one will bother to give me the specs or go and measure it for me.

Even the Ibanez distributors from Canada wont help me.

It's not that difficult-just look at their website. For the bridge on the RG-421, you'd need their part number #PN-8000-00, referred to as their "Import Strat" saddles. Same ones I've got on my JS6 (which is the same bridge).

I noticed those and didnt want to take a chance without knowing for sure. But I really appreciate it, and I will go ahead and order the saddles. Much appreciated!

I'm thinking about getting the same thing for my rg421. What were your results?

Has anyone else done this?

I've checked the graphtech site and found that PN-8000-00 fits the RG421.

What else is involved with installing something like this? What kind of routing would need to be performed?
