Did Ibanez every release a guitar anywhere with these options?

Not sure. But an RG421, or 321 can be easily upgraded with the graphtec piezo bridge saddles.

wil..

Hmm...I might do that. What I really want to do is make a custom with a mahogany body and a maple veneer on top with a natural finish (maybe oiled?) :P

Do they make the powerbridge in a hardtail model (not a stop tail)

Just pick up a new RG321-OM. You could snag one of those and pop in the piezo saddles/bridge for less than the cost of a putting together a custom job

Yeah, but then you sacrifiice quality. If I were to go that route, I'd get at least a 421, but then I'd have to get the body sanded and oiled or some other finish somewhere.

Have you checked out the RG-321OM? Aside from the cheesy stock pickups, the quality was no different from the (2) RG-421s that I've had. Of course, the nice mahogany and attractive oil finish more than made up for having to swap out pickups (which I had to do on the 421s anyway).

The quality difference is negligible at best.
