Ibanez JPM p2...is this a good deal?

So ive been searching around lately and i found a ibanez jpm p2 for sale for $850. The condition appears to be pretty good, with no scratches and minimal playing wear. The guitar seems to sell for a lot more in the U.S., so i could possibly flip it there for extra cash. Should i pull the trigger?

Do you plan on buying it in Japan and then traveling to the USA to sell it ? or post it to the USA if you sell it ?

If its in good condition then yeah you could make a profit, but its a buyers market, and its hard to sell things at the moment. Especially as the USA are in an economic crisis of sorts..

Good luck

Yeah i guess i would take the guitar back with me. But the danger there is that i would bond with it and end up keeping it!

$850 seems really low for a JPM .... especially a P2. Sounds fishy to me.

It seems pretty legit. It's being sold from a guitar store in japan as well, rather than a person. I wish i could post pics but the guitar looks good, doesn't seem to be a copy.

Re: Ibanez JPM p2...is this a good deal?

Ibanez guitars dont seem to hold their value very well here compared to other brands. On this auction site someone is selling a jem777 LNG for $1,800. It's missing the case and back plate, but appears to be real. It also has a decent amount of wear and tear.

Re: Ibanez JPM p2...is this a good deal?

hmm the seller says he can't find the serial number on the guitar. I asked him why and for more pictures but no reply yet...it seems kind of strange doesn't it?

Re: Ibanez JPM p2...is this a good deal?

He sent me some pics with the serial number, pics of VERY minor scratches and dents...wow this is really tempting. I would buy it in a heartbeart...but im currently torn between this and a nice greco es 175.

I don't think it's on auction..... It's in a store in Japan. If I were in Japan right now, this thread would be pointless...... I'd buy it without the slightest hesitation.
