ibanez oldies

are the older ibanez guitars, like the pf200, any good? are they better or worse than the orriginals (e.g, les paul??)
if anyone knows, its you guys

The "lawsuit era" guitars are very good. According to some historians the guitars were every bit as good yet cheaper than Gibsons hence bringing the lawsuit. If you seek to become proficient in the history of Ibanez then read "Ibanez: The Untold Story" for more clarification. If you are just looking to buy one i would say go for it.

cheers man, yeah im looking at one of the pf models, trying to work out if theyre better or worse than the equivelent gibson....

will try to go ibanez tho =)

Go to the boards there, theres lots of info on oldies...

The PFs are actually post-lawsuit era, thats why their body and headstock shapes are slightly different from Gibson's LPs...
