Ibanez PGM30

Hi all,

I'm from France and old ibanez pgm are quite rare and expensive here...

But recently I've found this offer :

Ibanez PGM 30 (1996) - 450 euros (587 $)

I think it's a pgm 300 and not a pgm 30 (what do you think ?) ! The guitar seems in bad shape but the seller says it's only esthetic. (I can't see by myself)

Since I'm a student and don't have infinite money, and since I have always wanted a pgm with a floyd I try to gather some opinions before buying it...

Here are some photos, the seller pretends that he can't take more photos...

Thank you for your advices and enlightenings

Re: Ibanez PGM30

Looks pretty beaten up. The tremolo on last pic looks like an edge so I'd say its a pgm300. The pgm30 had the lo trs tremolo and infinity pups. If its just cosmetics then its a good guitar. Don't know about prices in your country but it does feel pretty high for a pgm300 in pretty poor condition.

Re: Ibanez PGM30

I could be wrong, but the 30 also had a rosewood board and not maple

Re: Ibanez PGM30

Nope you're not wrong.

Third pic and the second pic do not seem to be the same guitar. Lower horn seems to have some damage on second picture which is not apparent in the third picture.

Think you need a "hostage picture". Additionally, with the damage on the front of the headstock, I'd ask for a picture of the back of the neck, especially if you cannot visit the guitar and look at it.
