Ibanez Prestige RG2560MZEX-TFB Routing

Hi guys. Does anybody know how this Japan-release Ibby is routed under the pick guard? Any help would be appreciated. I'm considering bringing one over and am wondering if I could go HSH with a pickup swap.

RG2560MEX? I dont know how it's routed but it's a REALLY nice guitar If you're gonna take one out of Japan, get the Crimson wine color, it's a Japan-only color

I haven't seen the 2560 in Crimson, just the newer 2540 with the rosewood board. Trust me if I saw the 2560 with the maple board in that Crimson it would already be on the way here. Been tempted by the 2540 even so

Oh yeah, this is a maple board, the Crimson wine one is rosewood. Also, I messed up the model number, you're right, it's a 2540ZEX

There's the crimson wine

I say just get that maple board 2560. Like the US market, the Japanese market has TONS of rosewood boards and not many maple boards (although, admittedly Japan has a lot more of a selection of maple boards than the US market.)

If you've got the time and don't mind that would be fantastic Rich. If not it's not a huge deal as I could always go with a single sized hum anyways.

I've been out of Ibbys for a long time but this one is sorely tempting me to bring it home

I don't see the "genesis" collection in the page anymore. Does that mean it's gone?

Re: Ibanez Prestige RG2560MZEX-TFB Routing

This is the one I missed out on.......... I waited a week too long to pull the trigger. I got a nice 752 instead, but the ABT is the one I really wanted..........and I still do.

Re: Ibanez Prestige RG2560MZEX-TFB Routing

The other thing to consider is that the middle pickup is closer to the neck on an HSS guitar.
