Ibanez Pro Line series? - I'd love to have more info

Hey.. I own an Ibanez Pro Line Randy Rhoads V and I've looked all over the net.. and cant find any info.

It has a neckthru construction. Ebony fingerboard(broken pyramid inlays I believe) I guess that the tremolo would be an Edge. Hotrail pups.

Serial #: B860938

Any info :read: *on the line/model.. or a link to a web site describing them would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks.

Ibanez Pro Line series?

I think Rich Harris here used to own one, so he might me able to help, I think it had a model number like *1660 or similar. (But don't quote me on that )

Welcome to the JEMsite forum, I've seen you around on the H-C guitars forums haven't I?

PR1660 was the one I used to have, bolt on. Don't know what you've got but it's not a Rhodes, just an offset V that alot of companies were copying at the time. My catalogs don't go back that far.

Possibly a Jackson? Broken pyramids sound like shark tooth inlays. I knew a guy who had one of the first Rhoad's, straight from NAMM when they were initially introduced. Awesome guitar!

jono: Yes Im from the H C forums.

Rich: It is a Rhoads rip off. I have a friend that owns a Jackson. Mine is completely rear-routed though.

rvj: Its an Ibanez.. with the same awesome Ibanez headstock.. But you may be right that these are shark tooth inlays(NOT sharkfin). Like the current Jackson inlays but part of it is cut out...
