Ibanez RG 570

Ok so I have an RG 570 and I want to change the pickups in. I'm thinking of putting a blue evo in the bridge, a red pro track in the middle, and a blue PAF Pro in the neck position. What combinations of colors do you think I should do? I think I might want to add purple in the mix. What pickups do you think would sound good as well?

Re: Ibanez RG 570

I have Evo 2, True Velvet and Evo neck in a 550 and it's great. Couldn't be much happier. D Sonic and Air Norton also sound killer in basswood.

Use the SEARCH feature--this question gets asked, and answered quite frequently.

Re: Ibanez RG 570

Make sure you're searching the PICKUPS and WIRING TECH SECTION--I just did a search, and found a ton of results.

I think purple would look best.

Re: Ibanez RG 570

Black and cream zebra, so from neck to bridge it'd be

black coil
cream coil
black coil
cream coil
black coil

You guitar is a very classy gold top style colour so I think you'd be more unique to go for classy colours.

The neons, reds, purples, blues have been done to death and I think, honestly, that they tend to look better in red, yellow, green guitars rather than something more grown up like your gold RG.

Re: Ibanez RG 570

Actually the guitar is a sparkling gray color almost silver but darker. The zebra pickups would look good but I already have a guitar with them. But i'll keep them in mind.

Re: Ibanez RG 570

if you already had zebra, then double cream is nice too for that kind of finish.
