Ibanez Rg1570 scalloped & evos

So a few months ago I shoved down everyone's throat the fact that I played Vai's guitars, and one of the things I was most surprised about was this-

I liked the feel of FLO III better than the original FLO guitar. I realized it was because of the slightly scalloped fretboard. It felt so good and quite liberating.

So- I decided to have my fretboard slightly scalloped (and when I mean slightly scalloped I mean not a yngwie half moon bye-bye fingerboard kind of scallop) and it is once again- amazing. I had a lot of problems with reaching the note while bending and I realized most of that was because I never accounted for my finger running across the wood (because I have short stubby fat fingertips) and causing friction. (I had practiced bending perfectly years ago and had gotten there, when I was probably 13, and never realized that my fingers got bigger and started rubbing on the wood). Now my muscle memory is free to take over and my bends are pretty spot on now

Also- for some reason it has enhanced the sustain of the guitar in some way

I also had a set of dimarzio EVO pickups installed and that + the legacy = sweet tone heaven. I actually don't want to stop playing now

I'll post pictures as soon as I can get imageshack to work for me again. None of the image hosting sites work on mobile anymore.

Here's a video http://youtu.be/Oo_y1RdKJZw

Much tone! Such guitar! Many skills! Wow! Really your playing is awesome, feel like your doing that guitar a favor haha. I did the same scalloped with my mex strat a year ago and what a difference it made! Just a little bit wood to free you from resistance not too much it affects your fingering. Picture please!
