Re: Ibanez RG340Z

They look like they have bindings, not sure if it's real or painted. Love the SSH configuration also.

Would love to have that in a white or sunburst, maybe even TV yellow.

Knew I'd find you here eventually! But yes totally agree, a purple one would be awesome.

The green is the most appealing at the moment :P Only Japan then?

Re: Ibanez RG340Z

I did notice that a lot of guitars are being offered in starlight blue color. It's a nice color, just not nice enough to be on every guitar they offer.

I thought the same thing--that Starlight Blue not only looks good, but has a cool name, too!

Re: Ibanez RG340Z

Those look awesome, would be legendary with maple fretboards though. The blue one looks like my custom.

couldn't agree more. I really love how the the early rg's really started mostly with maple boards and now you can hardly get them. I love the look of maple fretboards, I just wish that Ibanez would stop pushing the same thing over and over, but if you look at another industry that has a huge Japanese presence in it you get the picture that it probably wont change anytime soon. How many of us have played RPG video games with basically the same story over and over and over. /rant over.

Re: Ibanez RG340Z

Why does Japan get the good's???? I want to see some really cool mid priced stuff.. under 1000.00. What would one of those cost in US $. Have a Friend In Japan right now coming home in a month or 2....mmmmm I got a big healthy bonus. and want to invest.

Re: Ibanez RG340Z

well, ibanez web site says it's 58,000yen which is about $720 (718.712). You you could take a 350 and change the pick guard like Linux said and a new one for $500ish, get a used guitar and your going for about 350ish.
