Lightbulb Ibanez RG570CT#2 MIJ | New DiMarzio Pickups

Guys, I need an advice on getting new DiMarzio pickups for a guitar I'm about to buy.

The guitar is an Ibanez RG570CT#2 MIJ.
It's got an alder body with a flamed maple top and a pau-ferro fretboard.

I was thinking of choosing one of the options below, but I'm not sure how it will sound on the alder body (I've always had basswood guitars):

Bridge: EVO 2 DP215 || Mo' Joe DP216
Middle: Area 61 DP416 || Virtual Vintage Heavy Blues 2 DP409
Neck: Air Norton DP193 || LiquiFire DP227

By the way, I like to play mostly progressive metal, fusion, and 80's hair metal.

The guitar's current owner suggested me to get a set of Evolution for the guitar and avoid the Tone Zone, claiming that it wouldn't sound nice on this guitar.
So, what do you think? Could you please give any suggestions?

Hope you can help me. Thanks in advance!

I like the pups you've chosen. Of them I would use the EVO2/ VV Heavy Blues/ Liquifier.

It's funny that the original owner told you the EVO's wouldn't sound good in an alder bodied guitar...........The Jem7VWH (alser bodied) comes with EVO's in it. I think it's always sounded pretty good for Steve and every other owner of a VWH.........

Thanks for the suggestion, man!
I'm considering all the options, to be honest.
I also thought about the PAF for the neck position.

And about this:

, the original owner told me that the Tone Zone wouldn't sound nice. He recommended me a set of EVOs for the guitar.
