Ibanez rg740. Needs more info.

I bought this around july last year with no information about it. Even the seller do not have enough info. All I can say that this is a rg740 (based on the neck pocket). Year 1996, maple fretboard, quilted maple top and as binding like an rg3120. Lo pro edge.

What I am asking is do you guys have a copy of a catalog with this guitar? For future reference. Thanks!

i had one of this before, it's sometimes called RG5150..yeah I know where the number comes from...
It's Ishibashi original model, ishibashi is one of the ibanez dealer in Japan. so this guitar was special order by them.

That thing is gorgeous! As an H-H configuration, you'd think it would be designated an RG720.

Found a sweet red one while researching this for you....will post info as I find it.

This is Jason from Ishibashi Music, Japan. We still have original Ishibashi models. I personally am also Ibanez player and to be honest even though I have never seen this model before it would not surprise me if it was one of ours from back then.

And I also think the same as psychoshredder. The 5150 name sounds made up. I don't know that I've seen Eddie with an Ibanez in his hands any time after the 5150 era came along.

welcome aboard Jason san!
It's been a while since my last purchase from ishibashi.
It's glad to have someone from ishibashi here.
I'll PM you if I found something interesting to ask for.

Why thank you good sir.

I know you are one of the legends of this community (it's not my first time here)., but it is for Ishbashi. Thank you.
