Ibanez RT versus RX (which did Andy Timmons play)

Hey guys, I just picked up an Ibanez RX750, and previously owned an RT650. Was trying to find something definitive about the model(s) Andy Timmons played pre-signature model. Big Tmmons fan and Ibanez collector, so more curious than anything.

Thanks!

Re: Ibanez RT versus RX (which did Andy Timmons play)

I wondered if someone here would grab that RX750! They don't show up very often.

I also have one, along with some RTs. The RX750 was an interesting model as it was the only MIJ RX and also the only model out of the entire RX/RT line that had an AANJ. I think the idea was to include one higher end build to give the RX line a little more cred. They're great guitars with terrific necks. Enjoy!

Re: Ibanez RT versus RX (which did Andy Timmons play)

I don't like RX series while i do love RTs. Because low end RXs has that kind of bodies (i've attached). This is a RX60 and catalogs says it is "hardwood". But i have no idea about highr end RX models like RX750.

Re: Ibanez RT versus RX (which did Andy Timmons play)

In all my years I've never seen an RT/RX in the UK which is a shame, they look like lovely instruments. There were a few lovely ones on the Custom Modded Ibanez thread which made me drool.
