Question Ibanez S 7420 TRS to Edge trem and pickup recommendations

Hello,

I own a S 7420 that is my backup to my universe. I put the Blaze pickups from my universe in it when I replaced the Universe pickups with Evolutions.

Was looking at maybe the evolution for the bridge and air norton for the neck?

Advice, recommendations?

Also looking for conversion of TRS to new Edge pro. I have the link for the modification but am thinking of sending it to LGM guitars to do. Is this a possible modification on this guitar?

Where do you purchase the Low Pro Edge from? Cost? The new one does not require ball end removal on strings? String thru the back of the body?

Thanks,

Steve

The new Edge trem has strings that go through the body. Dunno how that would work out on the S7420 though :S

I kept mine stock. I like the way it sounds plus I have 2 RG 7620s and a UV7PWH so enough guitars with Blaze pickups.

My S 7420 to me, has a nice unique sound that seperates it from my other 7s. Im very content with it. The TRS has grown on me. Still, I like the Lo Pro Edge better.

Anyone know where to purchase the new edge trem from? Ibanez only? I definitely want to replace the bridge on the S7420.

Thanks,

Steve

You can try www.ibanezrules.com or maybe E bay?

You might be lucky to do a direct swap with the lo pro edge. An easier solution is swaping with an OFR.
