Ibanez SHRG1Z Giger custom

Mahogany dipped in zinc and etched with Giger's esoteric Biomechanical Matrix runes. Sublime piece of crafstmanship with a tone to match.

Re: Ibanez SHRG1Z Giger custom

I played 1 up in NYC it was alright but I wasn't crazy about it, just it might of been the one there since their vwh and brmr both felt crappy so I can't say how they feel till I feel one that hasn't be fudged with

Re: Ibanez SHRG1Z Giger custom

Yes, it is mine.

I managed to get the first one into the UK straight from the Ibanez rep.

I play a nine string Brian Eastwood custom (there is a photo in the pic section of www.myspace.com/virtualstrangers if you are interested) but bought this because I am a huge Giger fan and its a great sounding work of art. The metal skin gives it a unique and pleasing tone. It has a standard default setup which would just need a little tweaking if I intended to play it for a living. As it is, this specimen is heading for the climate controlled display case, only to emerge for recording duties.
