I guess I'll hang on to it, seems like they are getting hard to find.

Re: IBZUSAF3

It's like a Super 3. Unique, but one of the only ways to get that sound. It's the same wire we use on the YJM Fury, so the Custom Shop can rewind that tone on any of the IBZUSA pickups (or anything for that matter). Hmmm that gives me an idea...I think I know what I'm going to bring to work tomorrow....

sorry to sound like a noob...... but who are "we"? I'd love to get a full set of IBZUSA's. I have one F2 left from My RG770....the rest disappeared.

Re: IBZUSAF3

Yep, Frank is a VP at Seymour Duncan.

DiMarzio will also make a one off of the IBZ/USAs if you want them.

Re: IBZUSAF3

hey Frank, I love the parallel axis distortion trembucker too. one of the best i ever had.
what do you think the closest dimarzio model to the PATB 2B ?
I'd say the X2N, but...I think X2N more heavy in mid.

Re: IBZUSAF3

Super 3 is probably the closest to the PATB2 but I wouldn't consider one a surrogate for the other.

Re: IBZUSAF3

Frank, glad to meet you. Would these pickups be custom made/wound to buyers specs or are they already spec'd out and ready to be made on request? (in other words, can I order a pickup to my custom specs?)

Re: IBZUSAF3

Yes Brian, try it. With so many good words about Super 3, you should give a try.
