If I had them all now....... - To all the guitars I've loved

Was reading a post earlier about "your worst" guitar, and I started thinking of all the guitars I've gone thru.
I used to trade quite a bit, and until just a few years ago...had only 1 electric at any given time.
Here they are in reasonably close chronological order:

* No name solidbody about 1" thick, 2 single coils with the on/off slide switches. chrome steel pickguard.
* Fender Tele Custom (mid 70's) custom fitted with Gibson humbuckers, front & rear, black
* Ibanez Flying-V (lawsuit-mid 70's) trans. red
* Fender Tele standard (mid 70's) natural
* Gibson SG standard (mid 70's) walnut, I later added a Dimarzio cream SD, and a Gibson pearl(ish)-handled trem.
* Gibson LP Deluxe, 1977, natural
* Gibson LP Custom, 1979 tobacco s/b
* BC Rich Mockingbird, 1980 USA handmade, koa w/gunmetal blue metalflake neck-thru. totally awesome...this one I truly truly regret selling.
* Moonstone Flying V, 1980, natural birds-eye maple
* Gibson LP custom, 1981, white
* Fender Strat, 1979 dark powder blue with a brushed copper pickguard, black p/u's & knobs
* Ibanez Roadstar II, early 80's, sunburst 3 single-coils
* Ibanez Roadstar II , early 80's, blue sunburst, 1 humbucker
* Ibanez Roadstar II, mid 80's, black H-S-S
* Kramer Pacer with the floyd, red. mid-80's
* Charvel Model 4 (I think?) 1986, dark purple metalflake.
* Bert Foster Custom (Atlanta luthier) strat-body, white, 1 humbucker, 1 vol knob & genuine floyd. later added tone control. This one I used from 87 thru 93. Bert did the setups & refretting on Steve Morse' telecaster (the one with the 1/2 dozen pickups)
* Ibanez RG750, 1988 Tangerine (thanks Rich) this one I still have
* Ibanez JS1000 1999 white *still have*
* Ibanez JEM555WH, $OLD !
* Ibanez JEM7VWH *the newest addition*

I also had at one time a Washburn "chopped-off explorer" that was corvette yellow and one of those Dean Elite Z's that came out in the 80's.
There may be a few others that I forgot...but you get the idea...

If I had them all now.......

Some nice pieces in there! *I too have though back through the countless guitar I've gone though-as many great ones as there have been, there are only 3 that I actually regret having sold:

-JS "Donnie" #000005 that Rich has now ( I REALLY should have kept it!)
-1964 Sunburst Hardtail Fender Strat (A REAL one!)
-Purple Music Man EVH Hardtail (Such a cool guitar! *But, who would have known that they'd be worth so much?)

Aside from that, I can remember the following:

(2) Ibanez RG560 in Grape Ice
(1) JEM777SK
(1) Ibanez S540TN in black
(2) 77FPs ('88 & '91)
(2) 7VWH ('94 & '9
RG570FM (trans blue)
(2) Purple EVH MusicMan w/ Floyd Rose
Jerry Jones Coral Sitar
60's Danelectro "Convertible"
'64 Gibson Melody Maker
'72 Gibson SG in Walnut
'83 Gibson Custom Shop Flying V in Purple Burst
'95 Gibson ES-335 Dot Reissue in Natural
'63 Gibson LG-0 Acoustic
'96 Gibson J-45 Acoustic
'96 Gibson ES-1275 Doublneck
'97 Martin 000-28EC "Clapton" model
'69 Martin D-28
'93 Gibson LP Custom in wine red
'93 Gibson LP Std. Birdseye in Natural.
'93 PRS Custom 24 in Cherry SB w/ birds & 10 Top
'95 PRS Custom 22 in amber w/ semi-hollow option/birds
'98 PRS Hollowbody II in Vintage Violin (Birds & 10 Top)
(2) Fender "Clapton" Strats *(Green & Pewter)
Fender 50th Anniv. Strat & Tele Set
Fender 60's Relic Strat in Oly White
Fender '52 Reissue Tele in Butterscotch Blonde
'93 Fender SRV Strat
'96 Fender Hendrix Tribute Strat
Hamer Artist in '59 Burst
Hamer Vanguard in Silver w/ P-90's
(2) Steinberger GM4T (black & white)
Steinberger GM7T (cherry SB)
Parker Fly Deluxe in Emerald Green
Gretsch 6120TM Tiger Maple in Orange

I know there are a bunch more I'm not remembering, but these are the ones that stood out the most. *

Well I think my list is just crap compared to yours...

1. '98 Cort S2600 (still own)
2. '96 Washburn EA20 Festival Series (still own and I'll never sell it! )
3. '99 Epiphone SG Special (still own)
4. '99 Ibanez JEM 555WH (still own and I'm having it modded soon)

I have also played a lot of other guitars (Fenders, Gibsons, JEMs, JS, RGs), but I've only owned these.

Next addition will probably be a JEM 7VWH, JEM10 or Peavey Wolfgang EVH.

Well, JEM7VWH, I'm only 25. *But, I worked in a music store for 7 years, so....every decent trade in that came in usually went home with me if I could work out a deal with the owner. *Plus, every NAMM show brought on a serious case of the "Gotta Haves". *Luckily, I'm now in a line or work that allows me to take home an actualy paycheck, as opposed to a new guitar every month or so! *LOL

Wow-that's a muthaload of guitars, VJ.
Pretty impressive list, indeed.....
Sorry to hear about the real job
Too bad we can't have 'em all back for a big photo shoot. *Talk about a gallery photo that would put ER to shame....that would do it.

If I had them all now.......

I've been a habitual guitar trader for years, and have pics of some 40 previously-owned guitars on my web site (my old guitars). The only two I regret letting go are an RG770DXVM and my RBM1.

The 770's kind of a neat story: I took it from a local studio guy in trade for an Ovation acoustic, and then I'm tellin' a friend of mine about it and it turns out it was his first guitar - even had his initials carved in the trem cavity! He'd pawned it when broke and starving 5 or 6 years previous, and couldn't get up the cash to get it out before someone bought it. He loved it (and he begged quite a lot over the next 20 minutes) so I sold it back to him for what I'd originally paid for the Ovation. He's still playing it, which takes some of the sting out of the regret...
