If I lived in Las Vegas

I would be the new owner of this,
https://reverb.com/item/124985-ibane...991-lazer-blue

No shipping.

Love the color and sure wish I could add it to my collection.

Local Pickup Only!! sometimes changes when you've had it for sale for 2 months. Still seems a bit pricey though.

I sent him a message but got nothing back.

This one being minty and a color that I like I'd pay in that ballpark, shipped.
What do you think would be a fair price for buyer and seller?

Re: If I lived in Las Vegas

That guitar looks absolutely mint! Even at $750 if you like that color then I would go for it... When you consider the fact that a new Indonesian made Premium is almost a thousand dollars compared to that '91 MIJ RG, which looks to be in near perfect condition and in my view is a far superior instrument over an Indo Premium Ibanez, I think $750 is still a good deal for a great guitar. I have a '91 black RG550 and it plays as nice as any MIJ Ibanez I've ever tried...

Re: If I lived in Las Vegas

Well, I got a message back. She still says that she wants to keep it local. I sent a nice reply stating that I'd really like to work with her on it, etc. So, maybe there is still a chance I can pull it in with my tractor beam. Feel free to post some Jemsite mojo to help make this thing happen.

Re: If I lived in Las Vegas

Sorry dude, I couldn't help myself. I pulled the trigger on this one. Bought one 2 months ago online and had to ship it back. (misrepresented auction) Really killed me, but this one looks superb. So if it is what I expect, Im keeping it. But If it isnt, It could sell. We'll see. Good evening.

Hey, I'm glad someone from here got it.
She wouldn't respond to my message so I guess there was no chance I was getting it anyway. Enjoy!

Re: If I lived in Las Vegas

I did get one reply from her about 5 days ago. Said she wanted the buyer to see the guitar first. To which I was like "really?" but didn't actually say that. Thought all money was green.

Oh well. I really wanted to add it to my collection. If you do get it, and later on decide to let her go, please think of me and drop a brother a line. Enjoy!

No problem, I'll definately keep that in mind. My first concern right now is getting the friggin guitar in my posession. If I dont here from this lady within 48 hrs the auctioners are gonna refund me and blacklist the seller. Hope its just a bad timing thing. I'll be patient about it.

Re: If I lived in Las Vegas

Heres the axe, she finally contacted me, she said she was on vacation. Note the cracked pickguard. That was not on the photos she uploaded. Also the V8 was not in her fotos either. I think someone took out the humbucker and put back in the v8 thus breaking the guard. Of corse she wont admit to any of that. Heres the pics before I take it apart over the weekend.

Re: If I lived in Las Vegas

The pick guard would tick me off. I think they are like $30 on ebay, though. Looks great!

Ya Ive seen one from paradise pickguard for 50 beans. Really nice blue mirror, but its not original. Not the same color. Heres a vid of the work I have done so far, so you can check out the axe. I did some more vids on it playing but I have to produce and edit them. More to come. Hope you check out the restoration of an awesome axe.
