These things look amazing. I've heard nothing but great things about them. Anyone here have any Vigiers? I know fettouhi is getting a lefty model soon.

I am going to order an Excalibur special in the near future, so it's nice to see another Vigier-fan.

I had a Surfreter, and I have tried several other Vigiers. They are extremely well built, and sound great - if you like the sound.

Great finishes, great hardware, the tremolo is very good. DiMarzio pickups. Also, Patrice Vigier is very easy to work with. If you want different paint, he will do it. As long as he can. No swirls.

I got a purple amethyst Surfreter, which they normally didn't make. It now belongs to Fredrik Pihl in Sweden. www.fredrikpihl.com

Yeah, pretty much, but he played this one. They couldn't put a Floyd on because the fretboard has no radius at all (completely flat)

You can order them from their USA distributor. I forgot the name of the place, but if you ask Patrice on their forums, he will tell you what to do.

I'm thinking of getting one in Antique Violin (like the one above) with a Breed Bridge and Neck combo with a Blue Velvet in the middle.

Re: I'm really GASing for one of these...

I would order it from their USA Distributor (guitar asylum) but the pricing is a little way out left field. I'd rather find one used in the local French market. Any one here from France want to go Vigier hunting with me? I'm dead serious about flying over to buy one (hey.. I work for an airline.. flying over is about as much a shipping anyways)
