HELLO!! Im torn between these two..... I have not owned an Ibanez for years, and I want to buy one again as soon as I sell my Les Paul (we never became good friends), and I have set my eyes on these two, but I can't figure out which one is the best....... Maybe someone here can help me decide.....

That's a toughie... You picked two good looking and nicely spec'ed guitars. I like the Iron Label one a little more.

Both beautiful guitars right enough. The mahogany body / ebony fretboard combo of the RGA with a slightly thicker neck gets my vote. Close call though! Are you a tone controller? If so maybe the 721 would be the one given the pot and the pup wiring. The alnico pups might have a nicer tone too in that one.

Just in case you want to see the specs side by side;

Pics when you get it please!

Go with The RGA, it has dimarzio pickups, and Ebony fretboard, it is better than The RG

I tried out the 6 and 7 string RGA's a couple of weeks ago. Easy to play guitars, more rounded necks and quite comfortable to handle. Wasn't all that impressed with the pups but then I'm accustomed to EVO's (which are completely different sounding).

On paper I would go for the RGA, but any chance you can try out first?

I personally prefer the RG to the RGA.

The RG has a more comfortable bridge and to me, a more effective switching system with a tone control.

I usually change pickups anyway, so the ones in the RG would probably get swapped out anyway.
