Importing from Japan... help!

Hey guys...

I was wondering if anyone could help me with my intent to start importing Quality guitars from Japan.

I live in Finland where everything here is extremely overpriced (for example a Jackson DR7 costs 650). I have tried to find websites to help me out to no avail.

Anyone with some advice... could ya please post and help me in my quest to liberate finland of their overpriced guitar!

Lance

Several of us have used Ishibashi (Google/Yahoo) to buy guitars. I suspect you'll find that buy the time you pay taxes, duties, and the like, you won't be saving any money.

I'm sure that do buy guitars at cost, you have to be a dealer or distributor of some kind.

Re: Importing from Japan... help!

yes, ishibashi is one good source.

but again, you must calculate your custom duty, shipping cost, etc if you are intending to import from Japan.

In my case, I live in Indonesia, they guitar on ishibashi used site is pretty cheap, but with additional cost for shipping, customs, tax etc the price of the guitar is not make sense anymore.
But..I'm still doing that ( importing) some items just because it's not available in anywhere else in the world.
it worth every pennies.
