Info on S-series 7 strings - Help me out.....?

Hey, all--

I know it's been a long time since I was here, but I have a question on the S-series 7 stringers. *There is one on Ebay right now that has a flame maple top and mahogony body, but I can't tell if it's a TRS trem or a Lo-pro. *It's bluish-green and looks pretty sweet, but I want a couple of opinions to back it up. *I'd post the link here, but have had my a$$ chewed once before from the Jemsite dudes for doing that, so I digress. *It's not hard to find. *It's sitting at $500 right now, and I'm seriously considering it. *Let me know what y'all think.

Later,
mg

It's basically your standard S7420 with a thin maple top and a nicer finish. Is the S7420 still in the lineup for 2001? It doesn't appear to be on the Ibanez 2001 site.

MusiciansFriend.com sells the S7420FM new... something about it being an "exclusive" model for them.

They have a few at the local guitar center? I guess they bought they from musicians friend though.

musician's friend and guitar center are owned by the same company, and the FM S7420 was a special finish guitar for them.

you might also see if you can find a used 540S7. *they made only 450 in 1991, and they have the Lo Pro Edge trem and Blaze II H/S/S pickups. *i own two and they are very nice guitars, my beat up black one is my main guitar. *they are not easy to find but they do crop up on Ebay every now and then.

DO KNOW THIS! The "TRS" that is on the S7 is not the same "trs" as the Jemjr, the JS100, or any of the other Korean guitars. The S7 has a Japanese made trem, that is perfectly adequate. *It will last as long as an edge or OFR.
