Info on V7-V8-S1 pickups?

I just picked up a 1996 RG570FBL (aka517) Blue Metal Flake. Awesome.

I am really surprised how well the pickups sound! I was immediately planning on ripping them out before playing them.

I was hopeing someone on this board (I just joined) could inform me a little about them (who makes them for Ibanez, etc...)

I love mine. They aren't really tight when it comes to palm muted rhythms but for leads they sound reallllllly creamy and good.

I am surprised how well the single coils sound too...very detailed. They are probably a little harsh but, for once, the tone control can trim it down a bit with out sounding like you just put a pillow over your amp. I love them!
