Inlay question

Ok guys, i think I am gonna buy an RG350MYE. Love that color! I'm gonna block the trem since I don't use it. I was thinking about going with green Dimarzio pickups and knobs. I was wondering if anyone knows someone who could remove the black dot inlays on the maple fretboard and replace them with green dots that would match the pickups. I think it would look amazing. Any ideas?

Later,
Chris

Re: Inlay question

Yep--you just need a few things: a drill, drill bit, sandpaper, cutting device, green acrylic rod, and epoxy. Drill out the black dots with a bit as close in diameter as you can get to the black dots. Order a grren acrylic rod that same diameter. Cut the rod to a length that goes just above the fretboad. Drip some epoxy into the holes. Insert acrylic rod pieces. Let dry. Sand down the rod pieces to be level with fretboard. Don't sand too much, as you don't want to distress the fretboard wood. The acrylic can be found online at many hobby shops.
