Iron label

So I happened to need some strings and fast fret( I CANNOT GO WITHOUT GHS FAST FRET GREAT STUFF IMO). So I took a drive down to my local guitarcenter and they happened to have a new iron label 6 string fixed bridge model. As soon as I took it off the wall and ran my hand up and down the neck I noticed it suffered the same fret end issue my rg7321 had... bump..bump..bump..all the way down the neck withe the frets sticking out! Sadly disapointed I was for this newer series, I was thinking maybe the iron label stuff was supposed to be the metalheads version of the premiums But it is not unforcently. I thought I would share just in case someone was thinking of ordering off for one thinking like me it was of the premium quality..I was sort of looking at the IL RG sevenstring before this but not now.

Re: Iron label

If you're talking about exposed ends from shrinking wood it's a 30 second job to fix, and should be taken care of by any dealer expecting to sell instruments.

My rg7321 had the same issue and I noticed that the IL had binding on the neck similar to the 7321, does the binding make that worse?

Re: Iron label

Nothing more than wood a little too high in water content drying out after production.

Re: Iron label

With a fret file, but what takes a pro 30 seconds will take an amateur 30 minutes and you'll probably leave lots of chatter marks because you don't have any experience.
