J Custom heads up

I stopped by guitar center in Villa Park over the weekend and they had a new J Custom 7 string. Vintage Violin type finish, vine inlay. They were asking $4K. Not sure how they got it, but its there if anyone has deep pockets and is interested

Re: J Custom heads up

They have it because they bought 30 in every color and flooded the market, so I can't find buyers for the 6 I still have in stock ;/

In that case, nobody buy it. I dragged my junk across the fretboard.

Re: J Custom heads up

That doesn't add value?

The funny part is GC actually thought they could sell 150 JC7's!! Kinda like them thinking they could sell 30 EVO's! NOT!

Re: J Custom heads up

I was just in the GC near me (Rockville, MD) yesterday and they seem to have moved the JC7 they had. Can't remember if they had a 6?

Was hoping to see a new JS2410, but no luck. They had the same stuff they did last time I was there:

JEM7VWH
JS2400
RG3570ZDY
RG3250MZFOR

That was their good Ibanez stuff. I remember there being a few RG3550Z's in there and they seem to have had no problem moving those.

Oh and if you want a truly special guitar, I teabagged the EVO at the GC in Natick, MA. So, just sayin' that's out there.

Yeah...honestly if I was going to $2500+ on a high end production guitar I would just buy off you. I'd rather not deal with morons at GC.

You should have your house remodeled into a replica of the Harmony Hut.
