Jackson SLATXMG wrong wood?

Looking to buy a Jackson slatxmgq3-7 from Thomann.de

I live in the uk and there is no way of checking the guitar before hand. I have seen that these guitars were intially built with the bridge pickup too far from the bridge, and also they wer released with basswood bodies INSTEAD of the Mahogany they are supposed to have.

When was this fixed and how do i know what i am ordering? Apparently Thomann got this latest batch in mid Feb this year.

Thanks in advance people.
