jc rg 9670. I think I'm in love...

I was just looking at ishibashi music...I thought rgt's were nice, but I just saw an rg 9670...oh my god! I've always loved the look of stained maple and gold hardware. On top of that you get neck through, super wizard neck, ebony fretboard with tree of life inlay, etc etc etc. It was 228,000 jpy. I have no idea what that means, but something tells me to hide my credit card..It was scary. What does anyone think of these? Im sure Rich has all the info. Oh yes, the gold hardware looked like the gold on the texas prestiges, not like the gold on a jem 7vwh. What's up with that?

Might be the "pearl gold" hardware, which is somewhat common on J-Customs

$228000 Japanese Yen ~= $1833 + shipping + customs
Don't know if it's worth it compared to the RGT3120, though. Doesn't have the gold hardware and vine inlay, but for a $500 difference it's probably close enough!

Yeah, that's it! I liked the look a bit more. Yeah...500 bucks for vine inlay, gold hardware, binding and ebony board is a bit much, but if you're gonna spend over 1300 on a guitar might as well go all the way... I think...

I was on the phone hooking my dial up for Jemfest

I think Iain is the only one here sporting an RG$, and it was a present from his wife (read - pry from cold dead hands)

IMO I don't think 500 extra is extreme for ebony board, gold hardware and vine inlay... I haven't seen the guitar tho, so I might would change my mind if I didn't like its looks, but sounds like a deal to me.

Not at all. AND, the vine is a new one. Not like on the 7vwh. I dont see one for me anytime soon...but in the future most definately. After the 7vwh though...
