JCRG Paint

I was looking on seraphim-metal.com on the J custom part and i noticed my guitar tutor at university has a PAINT 4. I'm interested as to how much it would be worth now ? His is in pretty much mint condition.

EDIT: Theres actually one in mint going on evilbay, just search for the guitar as well as an ARCH from the same seller. Which looks very nice!

Re: JCRG Paint

J custom paint 1,2,3,4 are rare in the market. The price is keeping increasing since it's a cup of tea of many collectors. £1500-£1700 is the reasonable price if it's mint.

Hi
I own an RG Paint 1 and they are rare. Only 18 were made for Paint 1. Paint 4 maybe 25 to 30 made in the world. So yes very rare.

Besides the cool paintjob, the guitar is an absoulte dream to play, and rivals any of the Jems in my opinion.

29 on the Paint4 (I own one, just like the one pictured above).
Read somewhere that Paint3 is a "warmer/more earthly" version, 21 guitars. There's somewhere on Ibanezrules a "red" version of that one, not sure if that is the actual Paint3.

(I'd sell most of my gear to get that red one to pair my Paint4...)

I recently purchased the red one. It is in very good condition (not mint) for a 15 year old guitar. It's an interesting guitar. The top part of the bridge (where the strings get locked in) has a slightly discoloured gold colour compared to the rest of the bridge, and there is a 0.5 mm chip on the upper horn's outer edge. I wonder how much this would be valued at?

Anyway, there is something about those j-customs from the era 1996-2000.. They just play better IMO compared to recent J-Customs..

I also have a reasonable conditioned swimsuit (RG-SS) and RG-ART models and they are by far the best guitars I have ever played (in terms of playability and feel).
