nope i haven't. email John. it seems he can do it for you and add whatever options you want for waaaay less than the new ones.
just my two cents - if you plan to get a custom made, be creative rather than copy an existing design. i'm biased i guess because i have a 7VWH already

Re: Jem made by Legacy One ??

The title of this thread needs to be amended! If you think you'll be getting a JEM, you're BADLY mistaken. It's an Ibanez copy that is no where near the prestige quality!

Straight up!

Oh yeah......and they don't come fully assembled. They come in pieces....and some of the pieces don't come at all

Legos anyone

Re: Jem made by Legacy One ??

Jim, how's the neck feel compared to a 7VWH neck? Same dimensions, feel, etc?

Re: Jem made by Legacy One ??

It actually does feel a bit similar to the VWH. The dimensions must be pretty close.

It's not prestige quality, but it's a nice playing neck

The only issue I have with the neck are the gaps in the reson between the routing and the inlay. Fret crowning / polishing could be a bit more up to par, but it's a nice player!

Re: Jem made by Legacy One ??

After reading the Legacyone thread here, and hearing how John handles himself, I would really rather not deal with him. Take a look at the detailed pics...

And there you have the reason I want to see detailed pics of the wave inlay fretboard he's doing before buying a neck with it
