JEMification as shown on universaljems.com

has anyone tried doing these jemifications? like the angled jack, the handle and the lion claw? how hard was it?

The most difficult and time consuming is the claw trem route. With the proper tools, all the mods can be done. Check out some of Brians tutorials.

yeah, I checked those prior to starting this thread. they look simple enough (except the lion-claw thing) as long as you measure carefully. Had RG bodies been more readily available IŽd start measuring and sketching right away to make a white jem with the old style heel

Duh! I should have noticed you already went to Brian's site.

I say go for it. You can always fill it back in if you mess up. I bought a white UV and did it....I LOVE IT!! (Thanx, Brian )

And check out Butch's claw I redid for him. Not bad......compared to what it was

I think IŽll make a whole new body though. RG bodies are hard to find, RG necks even harder. I have a kribson neck and body though. the body isnŽt perfect, but the neck works just fine would be nice with a new maple fretboard with some weird vine though

IŽll avoid doing the lions-claw myself. better leave that to a pro. the rest should be something I could do on my own, with the help of a router

Actually I practiced the claw on a blank piece of basswood....the handle, I just went for it
